teaching, and publishing. Directed 21 shows, focusing on the decomposition and
reconstruction of the play, and wrote 9 theater or musical scripts, as well as 12 books and 35 papers. Expertise
teaching acting based on easy physical training and singing (my own method). Fluent in English, Korean and French.

- Founded the theater
company, having successfully fundraised from Honam
University and other supporters
- As Artistic Director, directed the company with its focus on creating
new shows
- Sought new playwrights to give them a chance to see their plays
performed
- As Director, collaborated with actors to produce new performances and/or
to choose appropriate ones among existing scripts to perform
- Directed 1 – 2 shows
per year through a process of collective creating, a method I invented and
developed to create new shows by writing a script with the
participation of all the actors
- Worked with old students (graduates) who came back for further

- Collaborated with different K-12 schools to send company members as
teachers to help prepare and produce school performances

songs to exercise the voice, pronunciation and breath and to strengthen the expression of actors’ inner thoughts and feelings

for classes of 10 junior students, focusing on visual and audible elements and using expression techniques such as
mime, song, dance, martial arts, and rituals, as well as inserting
figurative and/or symbolic scenes
- Directed one show
in workshop class with about 30 students selected by audition, leading
them to create one new show per semester
- Directed
existing repertories, including plays by William
Shakespeare and in American Realism, European Symbolism and Korean traditions
- Directed students’ performances for them to take part in contests, and
won prizes including the newly-created musical prize and new music prize
- Worked with various organizations like Gwangju City and the National Park Corporation to produce new shows for special occasions such as citizen’s day, the campaign for the protection of the environment, etc.
